The Houston Texans earned their first win of the season in convincing fashion.After a questionable start and an early turnover by Matt Schaub the fans were getting nervous.Thankfully after the turnover the defense stepped up and handled business.The defense pressured Trent edwards all game.The story of the game was twofold. Brian Cushing helped limit the Bills rushing attack to 3 yards.This was a Season/Career low for the Texans run defense.When asked how they stopped the run so well Cushing said "the guys up front made it easy on me."We were able to tackle well and anticipate run plays very well tonight."By not allowing the big play the team finally showed what it can do.The Big Texan Game ball on defense goes to Xavier Adibi.He made crucial tackles and disrupted several plays.We gave up a few plays on defense in the air but luckily some of those passes were off or it would have been ugly.On offense the story of the day was Slaton.He ran well going for 123 yards on 14 carries and 3 tds. It was a nice effort.Andre Johnson caught 6 balls for 90 yards and 1 score.The big Texan offensive player of the game goes to Steve Slaton.Coach Kubiak lives to see another day.I think the team is on the right track and we will be going into the bye week with a little momentum.The Texans would like to thank their fans for supporting the team this season with all the drama that has unfolded thus far.We would also like to thank team Phobia for a solid effort.Aside a few plays here and there I think the score could have been a lot different.It was almost like your team gave up.I wish your Bills the best this year,you have some good young talent over there.
